About ChildCareRegister.Com - Founder's Story
From managing a global steel company to running a local child care, our journey is built on efficiency and care.
We own a child care business in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Running a high-quality child care isn't easy.
We are tasked with creating a warm, nurturing environment to help children prepare for school and life, while balancing the scope of our work—preparing for compliance audits, making wholesome meals, maintaining premises for health inspections, continuously preparing administrative documents for authorities, and maintaining a child care business with razor-thin margins.
While virtually every other industry relies on business software technology tools to help streamline, organize, communicate, and show business strengths and weaknesses, the child care industry continues to lack in these areas. We need to change this so that we can be a more efficient industry. I want to try to change that.
My background is in Quality Assurance Management, where I worked for a large multinational steel company with plants all over the world. We implemented an online, web-based QMS (Quality Management System) that helped us save millions of dollars.
The QMS system provided us good information and data at our fingertips, where we could now make quick decisions and improvements in nearly every area of the company. I want to create a similar system for the child care industry—one app at a time.
