Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of ChildCareRegister.com.
By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must:
- be at least 18 years old
- have authority to act on behalf of your organization
- provide accurate information
2. Subscription Service
ChildCareRegister is provided as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
Subscriptions may include:
- monthly billing
- annual billing
- optional premium services
Subscription fees are payable in advance.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- maintain accurate records
- protect your password
- use the software legally
- maintain required parental consents
- comply with applicable childcare regulations
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- attempt unauthorized access
- reverse engineer the software
- distribute malware
- interfere with service availability
- upload unlawful content
- violate privacy laws
5. Customer Data
You retain ownership of all customer data.
You grant ChildCareRegister permission to host, process, transmit and back up your information solely to provide the service.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, trademarks, logos, graphics, source code, and documentation remain the property of ChildCareRegister.
7. Availability
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur.
8. Data Backup
We perform routine backups.
Customers remain responsible for maintaining copies of any information they consider critical.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription.
We may suspend accounts for:
- non-payment
- illegal activity
- security concerns
- breach of these Terms
10. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
ChildCareRegister shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid during the preceding twelve months.
12. Disclaimer
The software is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted operation.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify ChildCareRegister from claims arising from:
- your use of the service
- your violation of law
- information you submit
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Disputes shall be resolved in Ontario courts unless otherwise required by law.
